Did you know that 20% of college students in the United States are taking Adderall illegally?

Adderall is a prescription amphetamine which is used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) by increasing alertness and focus. It affects chemicals in the brain and in the nerves that contribute to both activity and control. Only 3% of college students have actually been diagnosed with ADHD. Societal perception on this drug has evolved dramatically over the years. Once looked down upon, Adderall is now becoming a commonality throughout college campuses nationwide. In today's competitive college environment, many students are faced with heavy workloads and loaded schedules that do not leave them with enough time to put in their studies. As a result, many of them are turning to the Adderall.
